About this book

What if the treasures inside a London house hold the power to wake the dead?

A message wakes Malcolm Ross in the night. Margaret Trelawny, the woman he is falling for, needs his help: something is badly wrong with her father. In a house crowded with Egyptian treasures, the young barrister searches for a rational answer while his concern for Margaret draws him deeper into danger.

Abel Trelawny studies ancient Egypt, and among his relics lies the mummy of Queen Tera, a ruler and sorceress. His plans reach beyond the study of the past. In The Jewel of Seven Stars, Bram Stoker brings a crime puzzle and a love story into conflict with the desire to master death.
