How the test works
- Tap the words you know. About 60 words, from the most common to the rare. Some are made up, so guessing does not help.
- Check three sentences. Short everyday sentences show that you know the words in use.
- See your estimate and your books. About how many words you know, a suggested level (Easy, Medium or Challenging) and three classics to try at that level.
The same three levels sit on every learner list: Easy, Medium, Challenging. To check one passage instead, use the reading level checker.
