When it is recited
Many Sunni Muslims recite these duas when facing worry, financial burdens or difficult decisions. They may be said as part of daily supplication or whenever someone wishes to ask Allah for help and right guidance. They are not tied to a particular season.
Where it comes from
These supplications belong to the duas transmitted from the Prophet Muhammad in the hadith tradition. In Sunni Islam, prophetic supplications are valued as examples of how to turn to Allah in need. They are supplications rather than passages from the Qur’an.
