In Charlotte Brontë and Her Circle, Clement King Shorter brings you into the Yorkshire parsonage and the lives around it. Clement King Shorter (1857–1926) was an English journalist, author and critic. He was born in London and later lived in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, where he died. He wrote Charlotte Brontë and Her Circle (1896). He edited The Illustrated London News and founded The Sphere in 1900.
