In Chapter 197, Sir La Cote Male Taile escapes a hundred attacking knights with a lady’s help, and a courier confirms his deeds after Maledisant calls him a coward. Sir Mordred rebukes her and distinguishes the young knight’s strength with a sword from his lack of experience on horseback.
