Rezumatul Chapter 3 pentru Agnes Grey

Chapter 3 din 25 · 17 min de citit chapter

In Chapter 3, Miss Grey struggles to teach the Bloomfield children while their parents restrict her authority and blame her for their behavior. Her efforts bring exhaustion rather than improvement, but she remains determined to support her family and prove herself, despite receiving only a short Christmas holiday.

Ce se întâmplă

  1. Miss Grey struggles with Mary Ann’s dressing and lessons, then receives Mr. Bloomfield’s rebuke when the children play in water.
  2. At the midday meal, Mr. Bloomfield complains about the food and criticizes his wife’s management of dinner.
  3. Denied authority to punish, Miss Grey adopts firm tasks, consistent promises, patient reasoning, and religious instruction.
  4. Tom resists lessons physically, while Mary Ann refuses words, screams, avoids dressing, and repeatedly enters the forbidden nursery.
  5. Fanny joins the schoolroom, deceives her parents, and behaves aggressively, while they blame Miss Grey for the children’s worsening conduct.
  6. Miss Grey resolves to remain for her family’s sake and receives only two weeks at home around Christmas.
