Skarb z wieży in short

The Tower Treasure follows two brothers from a bored Saturday errand to their first real case. Each step comes from a small clue.

What Skarb z wieży is about

Two brothers wish for a real mystery

The book opens on a spring Saturday with a wish. Frank Hardy, sixteen, and his brother Joe, a year younger, ride motorcycles along the shore road near Bayport. They carry legal papers for their father, Fenton Hardy, a detective known across the country. The errand bores them, and they want something bigger.

Then the road gives them what they asked for, and not gently. A car roars up behind them with its muffler cut out, swinging toward the edge of the embankment. Below lies a drop of a hundred feet to the rocks. The driver has a shock of red hair blowing in the wind. At the last second the car shoots past by inches, and the man shakes his fist at them.

Later, near the farm of their friend Chet Morton, the boys see a wrecked touring car upside down in the bushes. Chet waits at his gate looking worried. His yellow roadster has been taken from the garage, though the car itself was locked. Joe realizes the wreck is the car that nearly ran them down.

A real mystery begins when you notice small facts and ask how they fit together.
