Co się wydarza

1. Jonathan hides his suspicions, discovers the Count doing household work, and draws him into a discussion of his ancestry.
2. The Count studies English business arrangements, demands another month of Jonathan’s company, and restricts what he writes to friends.
3. Despite warning Jonathan against sleeping elsewhere, the Count leaves his rooms by crawling headfirst down the outer wall.
4. Jonathan explores the castle, finds the main exit locked without its key, and forces entry into an unused suite.
5. Ignoring the warning, Jonathan lies down there and encounters three women, one of whom brings sharp teeth against his throat.
6. The Count drives them back and offers them a moving bag; they vanish with it, and Jonathan loses consciousness.
