줄거리

Arthur, Ban, and Bors reach Cameliard with twenty thousand men, rescue Leodegrance, kill ten thousand enemy soldiers, and drive Rience away.
Leodegrance welcomes the victors, and Arthur sees Guenever for the first time and falls in love with her.
Ban and Bors leave to resist Claudas, decline Arthur’s offer to accompany them, and promise mutual aid.
Merlin predicts further need for Arthur’s help and names Balin le Savage and Balan in a prophecy concerning the eleven kings.
At Sorhaute, the wounded eleven kings hear that invaders devastate their lands and besiege Wandesborow Castle.
The kings strengthen their borders and spend three years gathering supplies and allies, including Rience and Nero, to avenge Bedegraine.
