Što se događa

2. Miss Temple invites both girls to her room, hears Jane’s account, and promises to ask Mr. Lloyd for confirmation.
3. Miss Temple shares tea and seed cake, checks Helen’s health, and discusses books and learning with her.
4. Miss Scatcherd makes Helen wear a label for untidiness; Jane tears it off and burns it.
5. About a week afterward, Mr. Lloyd’s reply supports Jane’s account, and Miss Temple publicly clears her.
6. Jane advances in her studies, begins French and drawing, and prefers Lowood’s affection to Gateshead’s luxuries.
