Sažetak djela Cleopatra (Chapter 6)

Chapter 6 od 34 · Book 1: Harmachis’s Preparation · 17 min čitanja: chapter

In Chapter 6, Harmachis undergoes initiation, watches visions of humanity’s struggle between good and evil, and experiences separation from his body before meeting Isis in Amenti. Isis connects his royal mission with the survival of her worship in Egypt, but places responsibility for success or failure on his own conduct.

Što se događa

  1. A priest leads Harmachis into the shrine, where a fiery sacred symbol appears and visions unfold.
  2. Harmachis sees humanity’s violence, divine rule, Osiris’s sacrifice, and an unresolved battle between good and evil.
  3. The priest leaves him alone despite the danger, and Harmachis faces terror, overwhelming sensations, and apparent death.
  4. Separated from his body, Harmachis travels to a radiant city and enters a hall prepared for Isis.
  5. Isis explains her presence throughout nature and links Harmachis’s royal task to the preservation of her worship.
  6. She refuses to predict his success, grants him a secret word and a forbidden sight, and Harmachis loses consciousness.
