Sažetak djela Billy Budd (Chapter 12)

Što se događa

1. Billy Budd sleeps on the upper deck when a stranger wakes him and asks him to meet secretly outside the bulwarks.
2. Still sleepy and slow to suspect wrongdoing, Billy follows the stranger to the secluded lee fore-chains.
3. The afterguardsman claims to belong to a group of impressed men, requests Billy’s help, and holds out two small objects.
4. Billy stutters with anger, rejects the approach, and threatens to throw the stranger over the rail.
5. Billy gives the awakened forecastlemen a limited explanation, which satisfies their concern about outsiders entering their territory.
