O que acontece

1. Gwendolen attends the archery gathering expecting Grandcourt to propose, and their conversation encourages her toward acceptance.

3. Lydia Glasher identifies herself, describes their four children, and insists that Grandcourt should marry her and recognize their son as heir.
4. Gwendolen promises not to interfere, returns alone to Green Arbor, and avoids Grandcourt’s touch when leaving.
5. She tells her mother she refuses to marry Grandcourt, keeps her reason secret, and departs for Dover the next morning.
