The Time Machine, Chapter 15: samenvatting

Wat er gebeurt

1. The Time Traveller moves backward through changing days and landscapes, slowing as familiar buildings appear.
2. He sees Mrs. Watchett move backward through the laboratory and thinks he briefly sees Hillyer.
3. He stops, climbs off the machine, and trembles before the familiar workshop makes him question his experience.
4. The machine rests in a different corner, matching the distance the Morlocks carry it in his account.
5. A newspaper and clock confirm the present date and hour, and he joins his listeners to eat and tell his story.
