3. Guenever tells Sir Ector de Maris that Morgan means to harm her and Sir Launcelot.
4. Arthur cannot identify Tristram because he hears that Tristram is in Petit Britain with Isoud la Blanche Mains.
5. As the two kings retreat, Arthur and Sir Uwaine confront Tristram, who names Morgan as the shield’s giver.
6. The closing passage states that Tristram strikes down Arthur and Uwaine and does not know why the shield was made.
