Shrnutí The Didache: Chapter 6
Chapter 6 z 16 · Čtení chapter zabere 1 min.
In Chapter 6, the teaching warns the reader against misleading guides and urges full obedience where possible, while allowing those unable to manage everything to do what they can. It applies this allowance to food but firmly excludes anything sacrificed to idols because eating it constitutes worship of dead gods.
Co se stane
- The reader receives a warning against anyone who draws them away from the teaching and from God.
- Bearing the Lord’s entire yoke brings perfection, but anyone unable to bear everything should do what they can.
- The reader may eat according to their capacity but must avoid food offered to idols.
