Shrnutí Frankenstein: Chapter 6

Chapter 6 z 28 · Part 2 · Čtení chapter zabere 11 min.

In Chapter 6, Victor reads Elizabeth’s family news, answers her anxious letter, and recovers with Clerval’s care, though scientific discussion still causes him distress. He turns to language studies and enjoys a walking tour near Ingolstadt, finding renewed affection for people and nature while travel difficulties postpone his return to Geneva.

Co se stane

  1. Elizabeth asks Victor to write, describes his family, and explains Justine Moritz’s return after her mother’s death.
  2. Victor replies and becomes strong enough to leave his room after another fortnight.
  3. Waldman and Krempe praise Victor’s scientific achievements, unknowingly distressing him, while Clerval protects him without demanding his secret.
  4. Victor joins Clerval in studying Persian, Arabic, and Sanskrit, finding relief from his thoughts.
  5. Winter blocks Victor’s journey home, but he and Clerval spend the season cheerfully.
  6. A fortnight of spring walks restores Victor’s pleasure in nature and companionship, and they return to college in high spirits.
