Shrnutí Dhammapada: Chapter 7

Chapter 7 z 26 · Čtení chapter zabere 2 min.

In Chapter 7, the verses describe venerable people as free from suffering, grief, bonds, and desire, with calm thoughts, words, and actions grounded in true knowledge. Their freedom separates them from ordinary attachments, makes their path difficult to understand, and allows them to find delight where the world finds none.

Co se stane

  1. A person who completes the journey and abandons grief and bonds no longer suffers.
  2. Those with collected thoughts leave home like swans departing from a lake.
  3. People who perceive emptiness and unconditioned freedom have paths as difficult to understand as birds in flight.
  4. Restrained senses, patience, and true knowledge distinguish the peaceful person whom even gods envy.
  5. The verses praise freedom from blind faith, temptation, and desire, then describe the delight surrounding the venerable.
