In Chapter 28, Shi En explains how Jiang Zhong seizes his profitable business, and Wu Song becomes his sworn brother and agrees to help him. After drinking along the road, Wu Song provokes a fight at Jiang’s inn, defeats him outside, and demands three conditions that remain unstated.

- Summoned by an escaping worker, Jiang attacks Wu Song, who defeats him with deceptive kicks and demands three conditions.
