Is Odysseus a good hero?
Odysseus is an admirable but deeply flawed hero. In The Odyssey, he shows courage, endurance, and longing for home, yet his pride after escaping Polyphemus puts his companions in danger. His cleverness can save lives, but it can also serve deception and violence.
