Cosa succede

1. Louhi demands that Ilmarinen plow a serpent field, and the maiden advises him to forge special equipment.
2. Ilmarinen plows safely, then follows the maiden’s advice to bridle a bear with forged steel and Terhenetar’s concealing fog.
3. For the third task, Ilmarinen forges an eagle that rescues him from a river monster and captures Mana’s pike.
4. The eagle eats the fish’s body, but Ilmarinen presents its head and secures Louhi’s agreement to the marriage.
5. A fourteen-day-old child tells of an eagle taking a maiden and argues that beautiful daughters cannot remain hidden.
6. Wainamoinen returns home grieving his rejection and warns older men against competing with young suitors.
