The Gentleman – Part 132 összefoglaló

Part 132 / 198 · Book 4: Nelson · 7 perc a rész elolvasására

In The Plank Caponier, Kit and the Parson recognize the Gentleman’s plan to use a hay wagon as cover and a climbing platform against the cottage. Kit shoots the lead horse from a projecting plank, then removes the wagon’s lynchpins while the Parson stops the remaining horse, and both escape back inside.

Mi történik?

  1. Kit joins the Parson upstairs and watches the Gentleman drive a hay wagon toward the cottage, shedding Grenadiers along the way.
  2. Kit recognizes that the wagon can shelter axemen below and give attackers access to the dormer above.
  3. The Parson and Blob anchor a plank through the window, allowing Kit to step outside and shoot the lead horse.
  4. The Gentleman cuts the harness and urges the remaining mare forward, but the Parson stops her while Kit removes the lynchpins.
  5. Kit pauses to check the fallen Gentleman, and a shot from the cottage kills a Grenadier aiming at him.
  6. Kit and the Parson climb through the dormer using a barrel, and Kit explains that he considers the Gentleman his friend.
