  3. Below deck, gun crews fight separately amid smoke, gunfire, shattered wood, and cries.
  4. Kit passes dying and wounded men, then narrowly escapes a shot and bumps into the Gunner.
  5. The Gunner hears the boarding warning, grabs chain shot, and calls the men above.
