Mitä tapahtuu

1. Zillah releases Nelly, who learns from Linton that Catherine is his wife and remains imprisoned upstairs.
2. Linton describes Heathcliff striking Catherine and destroying her father’s portrait, but refuses to reveal where the key is.
3. Nelly returns to Edgar, who orders changes to his will, while servants fail to secure Catherine’s release.
4. Catherine arrives at three o’clock and comforts her father, who dies peacefully after their reunion.
5. Mr. Green arrives after Edgar’s death, dismisses most servants, and unsuccessfully tries to change the burial arrangements.
6. Catherine explains that Linton secretly enables her escape through her mother’s window, and suffers for helping her.
