Peter Pan – Chapter 4-tiivistelmä

Chapter 4 / 17 · chapter lukemiseen 12 min

In Chapter 4, Peter guides Wendy, John, and Michael toward the Neverland, where their delight turns to fear as imagined dangers become real. A pirate cannon scatters the flying companions, leaving Wendy alone with Tinker Bell, who uses her apparent guidance to lead Wendy toward death.

Mitä tapahtuu

  1. During the long flight, the children depend on Peter for food, rescue, and guidance, although he sometimes forgets them.
  2. Peter teaches them to rest on the wind, and they reach an island they immediately recognize.
  3. Darkness frightens the children, while Peter describes Hook and makes John promise to leave that enemy to him.
  4. Tinker Bell reports that pirates prepare their cannon, and the children hide her revealing light inside John’s hat.
  5. The pirates fire, separating Peter, Wendy, and the brothers without hitting anyone.
  6. Jealous Tinker Bell pretends to guide Wendy safely, but instead leads her toward death.
