About this book

The telegraph wires are cut, an army advances, and one courier must carry a warning across Siberia.

In Jules Verne’s Michael Strogoff: The Courier of the Czar, a secret letter must reach Irkutsk, where the Czar’s brother is trapped. Feofar Khan’s army sweeps through Siberia, while the traitor Ivan Ogareff seeks revenge. The Czar chooses Michael, a strong, steady courier, to cross the dangerous country.

On the road east, Michael meets Nadia Fedor, who travels to join her exiled father in Irkutsk. She becomes his companion and helper as the towns grow farther apart and the news grows worse. From the Volga to the Urals and the Siberian plains, Verne makes geography part of the danger.
