About Vuk Stefanović Karadžić
Vuk Stefanović Karadžić was a Serbian linguist born in Tršić in 1787. He later lived in Vienna, where he died in 1864. He published a Serbian grammar in 1814 and a Serbian dictionary in 1818. He collected Serbian folk songs and tales and reformed the Serbian alphabet.
