About Stanley Lane-Poole
Stanley Lane-Poole was a British historian, orientalist and archaeologist. He was born in London in 1854 and died in 1931. He worked at the British Museum in London and taught Arabic at Trinity College Dublin. His books included The Story of the Barbary Corsairs, published in 1890.
