Edmund Burke was born in Dublin in 1729 and died in Beaconsfield, England, in 1797. He moved to London in 1750 and served in the British Parliament from 1765 to 1794. He delivered his speech on conciliation with America in 1775 and published Reflections on the Revolution in France in 1790.
