About this book

Wooden dolls, guarded secrets, and a chase across two continents: what lies behind an object that looks harmless?

In No. 13 Toroni, Julius Regis brings mystery and adventure together around wooden dolls and hidden secrets. Objects conceal more than they reveal, and people go far to protect what they know. The puzzle draws you into a pursuit that stretches across two continents, with danger keeping close to the clues.

This is a thriller in the early detective and adventure tradition, where movement matters as much as mystery. Short scenes and clear action keep the plot moving steadily. Rather than settle into deep psychology, the story invites you to watch the objects, follow the chase, and wonder what each guarded secret may mean.
