4. Kit crosses the wreckage onto the Cocotte and secures its hatchways while fighting continues below.
5. Finding Mouche pinned beneath a yard, Kit refuses his plea for death but puts a pistol into his hand.
6. Kit hears a shot while crossing back and sees crowded boats rowing toward him from the Coquette.
