Hvor den stammer fra

Durood Ibrahim is transmitted in hadith reports, including those in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, as a prayer taught by Prophet Muhammad. It asks Allah to bless Muhammad and his family, recalling the blessings bestowed upon Ibrahim and his family. Durood Sharif is a broader term for prayers of blessing upon the Prophet, rather than the name of only this wording.
