Hvad sker der?

1. Jimmy wakes in his grandparents’ house, and his grandmother welcomes him with clean clothes, a warm bath, and food.
2. At supper, Jimmy observes his grandfather and learns about Otto Fuchs, who works on the farm.
3. Otto tells Jimmy about his pony, Dude, shows cowboy equipment, and answers questions before Grandfather leads evening prayers.
4. The next morning, Jimmy explores the farmyard and sees red grass stretching across almost all the surrounding land.
5. Grandmother takes Jimmy to gather potatoes, warns him about rattlesnakes, and allows him to remain in the garden.
6. Alone among plants and small animals, Jimmy feels completely happy and reflects on becoming part of something larger.
