Hvad sker der?

1. Left penniless at Whitcross without her parcel, Jane sleeps on the moor and prays for Mr. Rochester.
2. She reaches a village, seeks work, and unsuccessfully offers her handkerchief and gloves for bread.
3. A farmer gives her bread, but another wet day brings further refusals and only some discarded porridge.
4. Near collapse, she follows a distant light across marshland and watches Diana, Mary, and Hannah through a window.
5. Hannah refuses shelter, but St. John arrives and brings Jane inside.
6. The sisters feed her, she gives the name Jane Elliott, and she receives a dry bed.
