Hvad sker der?

1. The Templar reads a challenge demanding the release of the captives and their property within an hour.
2. Front-de-Bœuf warns that the English archers are dangerous and that most of the knights’ soldiers are in York.
3. The Templar writes a reply rejecting the challenge and requesting a priest before the prisoners’ threatened execution.
4. The Black Knight explains the French reply to the gathered rescuers, and Locksley calls the threat a delaying trick.
5. The hermit refuses to act as confessor, but Wamba offers to use his own early religious training.
6. Wamba puts on the hermit’s robe and departs, while Locksley prepares to prevent messages from leaving the castle.
