4. Despite a warm welcome, Micawber cannot prepare punch and breaks down, accusing Heep of fraud and conspiracy.
5. Micawber demands secrecy and summons everyone to Canterbury in a week to expose Heep and secure redress for Miss Wickfield.
6. He leaves abruptly, then sends a note apologizing, confirming the appointment, and declaring his intention to disappear after making amends.
