In Chapter 5, Amrah hears how Ben-Hur’s mother and Tirzah are found in prison, then locates them among the lepers near En-rogel and brings them food and water. His mother asks her to conceal their whereabouts to protect him from infection, turning Amrah’s discovery into a secret she must carry while serving them twice daily.
What happens
