About this book

What if the law knows your name, but not the man you are?

Buck Duane carries his father's reputation before he makes a name of his own. The son of a feared Texas gunman, he lives beneath a shadow he cannot shake. When a violent clash leaves a man dead, Duane becomes a fugitive, forced into the outlaw country of the border.

In The Lone Star Ranger, Zane Grey follows Duane through gunfights, long rides, and hard country. Captain MacNelly of the Texas Rangers sees courage where others see only an outlaw. Jennie Lindsay gives Duane reason to hope for a better life. But can his choices count for more than the name that follows him?
