Le Morte Darthur: resumen de Chapter 25

Qué sucede

1. Arthur orders noble children born on May Day brought to him under threat of death because of Merlin’s warning.
2. King Lot’s wife sends Mordred, and the gathered infants are placed aboard a ship.
3. The ship drifts to a castle and breaks apart, killing most of the children.
4. Mordred reaches shore, where a good man finds him and raises him until he is fourteen.
5. Lords and barons resent their children’s deaths, often blaming Merlin more than Arthur, but remain silent.
6. A messenger reaches King Ryons, who becomes furious and prepares a large army.
