Aesop's Fables: resumen de Part 145

Part 145 de 284 · 1 min para leer el part

In The Escaped Jackdaw, a bird kept as a pet escapes when its keepers relax their watch, but the string attached to its leg catches in a tree. Unable to free itself, the Jackdaw sees its escape from captivity as the loss of its life.

Qué sucede

  1. A Man catches a Jackdaw, ties string to its leg, and gives it to his children as a pet.
  2. The Jackdaw dislikes living with people and escapes when it seems tame enough to receive less attention.
  3. It returns to its old haunts, where the string tangles in tree branches.
  4. Unable to escape the branches, the Jackdaw cries that gaining freedom costs it its life.
