About this book

What can you trust when jewels glitter, identities shift, and a good name matters as much as wealth?

In The Diamond Coterie, Lawrence L. Lynch brings together stolen jewels, hidden identities, and high-society secrets. Diamonds sit at the heart of a detective puzzle, drawing attention to a close circle linked by wealth. The mystery invites you to look beyond the glitter and question what a polished appearance can hide.

This is a world where reputation carries weight and scandal threatens the security of wealthy drawing rooms. False faces make trust uncertain, while the slow unwinding of the puzzle asks for patience and attention. Victorian manners give the story its atmosphere: beneath social polish lie questions about money, identity, and what people fear others may discover.

What you’ll discover

  • Diamonds at the center Follow a mystery shaped by precious stones, stolen wealth, and the secrets surrounding them.
  • Faces you cannot trust Let hidden identities keep you questioning the people behind their carefully presented appearances.
  • Reputation under pressure Explore a social world where scandal can threaten as much as the loss of jewels.
  • A slowly unfolding puzzle Enjoy the patient curiosity of old-fashioned detection, with room to linger over each question.
  • Victorian polish and secrets Step into wealthy drawing rooms where period manners frame the tension beneath the surface.
